Noun Adjective
Sometimes we use a noun to describe another noun. In that case, the first noun "acts as" an adjective. To convert a noun to an adjective use the suffix:
-ov+ -ов+
sviet (world), svietovy (world's)
Examples
svietovy mir, световы мир (world peace)
papirovy šablon, папировы шаблон (paper template)
podatkovy deń, податковы день (tax day)
hmeľove pivo, хмельове пиво (hop beer)
večerova suknia, вечерова сукня (evening dress)
vlakova stancija, влакова станция (train station)
Genitive
However be careful not to overuse noun adjectives, you have to distinguish whether use them or use regular genitive:world history → world's history → history of the world → historia svieta / хистoря светa
