In the dictionary, adjectives are denoted with + (plus sign) for example mal+ / мaл+ (small). By default adjectives have suffix +e so they can match neuter/plural:
+e
male diete, мaле дьете (small child)
modre ljudi, мoдре люди (blue people)
Feminine adjectives must have suffix (+a) in Nominative so they can match the subject:+a
dobra žena, добра жена (good woman/wife)
Masculine adjectives can optionally have suffixes (+y/ы) in Nominative:+y +ы
dobry muž, добры муж (good man/husband)
ne не
dobr+ / добр+ (good)
ne dobr+ / не добр+ (not good)
In southern slavic languages, masculine adjectives have lost the suffix. You can optionally use this trick to simplify all adjective use:
dobr muž, добр муж (good man/husband), dobr žena, добр жена (good woman/wife), dobr dete, добр дете (good child), dobr ljudi, добр люди (good people)
